It was our fourth (yes we can’t believe it either) birthday party for October’s meeting and time for some Bollywood dancing, and Indian themed snacks.
Local fitness and dance instructor Sally came along and Committee member Ingrid kindly brought a range of saris for us to try on. The evening kicked off as usual with Jerusalem and some business, and then Sally showed us some of her moves and we joined in.
It was exhausting, but great fun, especially for the less coordinated members (mainly me), after a variety of dances, including some stick action and bhangra we retired for some nibbles.
Wendy had made our cake which was amazing pink tiered sponge cake, which was delicious and welcome with a cup of tea after the energetic dancing.

There were also onion bhajis, samosa and bharti made by Joy and some one had made a chai tea loaf, which was amazing, but unfortunately I didn’t get a photo.
Another great, and hilarious, meeting with (uncoordinated) dance moves and lots of yummy food.
Looking forward to next month’s Vintage hair-dos and make-up evening.
