This January we had Verena from Fabric Tattoo Embroidery come and teach us some simple embroidery for love hearts ready for the annual Show the Love Climate Coalition campaign in February.
It was a lovely gentle start to the new year, nothing too strenuous and members did a mixture of different stitches.
Interestingly everyone seemed to start with the left, darker side. Verena had colour matched as far as possible to the Climate Coalition colours and it was good how quickly we made progress.
We are hoping that members will bring them back finished next month to use them for a display to show Lincoln WI’s commitment to tackling climate change.
