This December local fabric artist Verena Handley came and taught us some simple embroidery techniques to make a snowflake bauble. Everyone was given a generous kit with up cycled fabric, DMC thread, a needle, a hoop, a sticky template as well as a comprehensive instruction leaflet.
The committee also organised non-alcoholic festive punch for everyone, as well as mince pies and tea and coffee as usual. It was a very social meeting, members and guests sat around tables and chatted as well as making great progress with their baubles and some were finished at Craft Club the weekend after.
