Our January meeting generally falls around 1st, often people are away and it can be quite quiet. January 2020 fell on the 2nd and despite the cold, dark night, lots of members turned out for first meeting.
To get ready for the #ShowtheLove Campaign in February, which highlights climate change through green love-hearts and our display, we painted pottery love hearts, one for the tree and one to keep.
Nina had made over 50 pottery hearts and brought paint for us and everyone got stuck in with great gusto. There were some quite creative and talented painters here are some of the results:
Look forward to checking out our display in Lincoln Central Library on February and next month is our annual meeting with a visit from our Denman rep. We hope you can join us at 7.15pn for a 7.30pm start on 4th February at the Grandstand on Carholme Road.
