The February meeting was the AGM for Lincoln WI, where all the old committee members stood down and had to be re-elected by members.
A bit like Trigger in Only Fools and Horses the Lincoln WI committee has lasted for quite a few years, only changed the President, Secretary and other members in the last two years.
Lucy remains our President.
Lara has handed over the Secretary baton to Sarah. Chelle, Wendy and Katy resigned, but we welcomed Sarah and Marika onto the committee.
We were also given a talk from Chelle and Tanya about their Denman experiences, Chelle did the charm pack course, and Tanya precious metal clay. They both had a wonderful time and were recipients of the Lincoln WI Denman bursary, funded by our cake sales throughout the year.
After this there was a charity marketplace, and local charities were able to have a stall to promote their good cause and recruit volunteers if needed.

Next month’s meeting will be Dr Jim Cheshire on Tennyson and Julia Margaret Cameron’s relationship to 20th century photography, 1 March at the Grandstand.
