A late notice change of plan led to our April Meeting being a Craft Event, lead by members of the Committee.
Nina demonstrated clay moulding, and arrived with a huge block of clay ready to be squidged and squashed into delightful animals.
Danni showed us how to decorate cup-cakes with icing mould and GIN.
Lara showed members how to make quick and easy cross stitch cards
Joy carried on our drive for heart cushions for breast cancer patients at Lincoln Hospital, and brought her sewing machine to aid members. Members made a total of 20 cushions for our drive.
Members got a chance to rotate around the tables and try different activities, although, as usual, time was tight, but fun was had by all.
Next month we’re hosting a local bee keeper to tell us about the art of bee keeping and about the threats that bees are facing. The Just For Fun competition will be ‘Creating a Buzz’.
