Our February meeting was a vote on the committee and election of the President followed by a games night. All adjudicated by Ann from Fed.
Members played Beetle and then there was some ‘eyes down, look in’ as we had a couple of rounds of bingo. Being a competitive bunch these were hotly contested and the winners were awarded chocolates.
Pat, our resident raffle mistress stood down and was presented with a lovely bouquet as thanks to her efforts over the last few years.
As usual there was plenty of cake to go round and the ‘Loved Up’ competition winner was a lovely cross stitch by Wendy.
We held our first Denman bursary draw and this was awarded to Rita, who appeared to be very surprised!
