Did you know that Ambridge has a WI? Well there was a lot of discussion about their centenary celebrations last year and this culminated in Lynda Snell putting on Calendar Girls as Ambridge’s festive Am-Dram.
It got rave reviews from the Borchester Echo and there’s still a few days to listen on the BBC radio player.
Personally, whilst I enjoyed listening, there’s more to the WI than Calendar Girls and I thought that the behind the scenes episodes where much more entertaining.
